Reliable contacts and service

This was my third time ordering daily disposable contact lenses from Hi Waldo, and as always, the experience was consistent. I've tried other brands before, but I keep coming back because their hydra daily lenses are just so comfortable. Shipping usually takes about a week to my place in Texas, which is pretty standard. No surprises, just good contacts delivered on time.

Easy to get new contacts

Needed new contacts and decided to try Hi Waldo after seeing an ad. I signed up for the daily lens subscription and it was really straightforward. Uploading my prescription was quick, and the first box showed up in about five days. The lenses feel pretty good, no issues at all. It was way easier than going to the eye doctor to pick them up, so I'm happy with how it worked out.

Subscription and delivery breakdown

I placed an order for their daily disposable contact lenses through the subscription model about three weeks ago. The initial sign-up process was smooth, and I appreciated the clear steps for uploading my prescription. Delivery took eight days to reach me in Seattle, which was a bit longer than I expected given some other online retailers, but still acceptable. The contact lenses themselves are comfortable and I haven't experienced any dryness, which is a plus. I also ordered a pair of non-prescription blue light glasses, and those arrived in the same package. The frames feel sturdy enough for daily use. I haven't had to contact customer support, so I can't speak to that experience. Overall, a solid service for contact lenses.

Want to try the contacts. Does that dollar trial thing work for everyone? Or is it only for like, specific new customers?

N Nick Q. 1 month ago
I got the dollar trial when I first signed up, seemed pretty standard for new users.

Yep, it's their main intro deal for first-timers usually. You just pay a buck for the first box.

What's the deal with returns? If I get a subscription and don't like the contacts after the first box, can I send the rest back easily?

C Cleo 1 month ago
Yeah, returns were easy for me. Just contact their support.

I had to return an extra box once and it was pretty straightforward. They have a policy online, just check their site.

My prescription is kinda old, like a year and a half. Can I still upload it for the contacts or do I need a super recent one?

R Raj Brooks 3 weeks ago
I think most places want a fairly recent one, usually within a year. You might need to get an updated exam.

They're pretty strict about current prescriptions for safety, afaik. Best to get a fresh one if yours is that old.

Thinking about getting some blue light glasses from Waldo. How do they compare to like, Warby Parker's? Any major differences in quality or style?

C Cody D. 1 month ago
Waldo's are pretty good for the price, feel lighter than my Warby Parker pair. Style-wise, maybe not as many options but still solid.

I've only tried Waldo, but they're comfortable and definitely cut down on eye strain for me. Can't speak to Warby directly but I'm happy with these.

Are there ever any other discounts besides the first box deal? Like for existing customers if I'm already subscribed?

S Shane 3 weeks ago
Mostly the referral credits for existing customers, not usually big promo codes after your first order.

They do have a referral program! That's how I get discounts sometimes. Also, sometimes around holidays, you might see something for annual supplies.
